About the role

We are looking for a passionate Soft Tissue Therapist(Sports Massage)to join our multidisciplinary team. ​

​Ten Health & Fitness is one of London’s leading clinics, offering an integrated mix of Dynamic Reformer Pilates, physiotherapy, massage therapy and clinical exercise prescription across our ten locations.​

Responsibilities include:

• Massage therapy – treating clients (principally office workers who lead active or sedentary lifestyles)

• Working with clients’ expectations – sports massage, therapeutic/relaxing massage, treating specific MSK issues or holistic full body treatment

• Giving home care advice (after-session care, stretches, exercises) and creating treatment plans for follow up sessions

• ​Liaising with other practitioners where appropriate (physio, trainers)

• SOAP notes for sessions (reflecting requirements for health professionals)​

What you'll bring:

• Minimum of level 4 or level 5 qualification in Sports Massage*

• ​Registration with SMA, CNHC, ISRM, FHT or another professional body

• ​Professional liability insurance

• Confidence in treating common MSK conditions

• Experience and/or interest in treating patients in a clinical setting

• ​Proficiency in professional communication with clients/colleagues

• Genuine passion and interest in pursuing a career in massage therapy

• Open to being mentored/developed as a professional Massage Therapist​

• Prenatal massage, scar therapy, assisted stretch, MET/PNF, myofascial release, cupping and dry needling qualifications are a bonus​
